4.5 Aussie Teams In Div 1 - 1 in Top 10

Written by Australian Warlord at 01:19 4/11-2020

In events that have dismayed Equal Opportunity Commissioner Priscilla Combers and Psychologist Simon Simpleton, four Australian teams are now currently sitting in the top 50 in OCM, namely AGB Procycling, Help, Temora Tornadoes, & Australian Warlord; and this is without including Team Chili, who is an Australian team currently racing under the Taiwanese flag. New Zealand team, Willunga Hill, is currently sitting just outside the top tier in 54th, however may re-join Division 1 with a good result in any of their enlisted races.

More devastating for these equalisation activists, the team they’ve labelled “the worst of the worst,” Australian Warlord, now sits inside the top 10 in OCM after Aussie cyclist Joe Haymen finished third in Sofia - Arch of Freedom (Beklemeto Pass), and is almost guaranteed to remain there until the end of the season.

Priscilla Combers, speaking with Chat Tabloids, has stated her intention to recommend weight penalties against certain nationalities (Australia) to OCM officials, saying "it’s a necessary step to correct the excessive numbers of Aussie teams in Division 1"; declaring that “after all, if they do it in horse racing, they can do it here.” And when it was mentioned the horses often break legs & die in races, she said that “it’d be a good incentive for cyclists not to race for such teams then.”

So, weight penalties to counter the unhealthy number of Australian teams in Division 1? It could be the next new OCM feature.

I think I'm a few seasons away from Div 1, need to find a captain besides Thurston who can score points on that level! Div 2 will hopefully happen this coming season

Willunga Hill at 21:34 4/11-2020
Dave's Velo Kiwi has been going in and out of Div 1 ever since I joined OCM. Done a great job of holding his position with me muscling in on his territory over time. :-)

Australian Warlord at 20:43 4/11-2020
What I'll be watching Frank, is the 1109 points to be lost in 10 days from 2 to 11, and 1459 points by day 19.
It'd be good to see you kiwis challenging for the Oceania title Coulter.
Absolutely Chili, more blue flags in Div1.

Holwerda Cycling at 08:35 4/11-2020
Congratulations, but I am not too far behind. Watch your back!

Willunga Hill at 01:36 4/11-2020
yeah, and both myself and Velo Kiwi seem to be hovering around the mark for a while now. Oceania making a div 1 take over.
  great season Rustgold. congrats!

Team Chili at 01:25 4/11-2020
I believe there is more room in div 1 for Aussies (PJM, Jayco, Dodge, Millican)

I will be back one day, just need to organise a replacement NT manager in Taiwan.
